We are looking for a reliable and organised Financial Assistant / Junior Bookkeeper to assist with basic finance and administrative duties within the accounts department. The successful candidate will support daily financial operations, capture transactions, and assist with reconciliations and general office administration.
Key ResponsibilitiesCapture supplier invoices and customer payments
Assist with daily bookkeeping and data capturing
Reconcile petty cash and basic accounts
Assist with bank reconciliations
Maintain filing and financial records
Follow up on outstanding invoices and payments
Assist with payroll administration where required
Support the finance team with administrative tasks
Ensure accurate and timely processing of financial documents
Minimum RequirementsMust be fluent in Afrikaans and English
Matric / Grade 12
1–2 years’ experience in an administrative or finance-related role
Basic bookkeeping or accounting knowledge
Computer literacy, especially Microsoft Excel
Experience with accounting software will be advantageous
Good attention to detail and accuracy
Strong organisational skills
AdvantageousBookkeeping or finance certificate/course
Experience using Sage, Pastel, or Xero
English and Afrikaans speaking
