A well-established organisation is looking for an experienced Senior Group Accountant to lead its group finance function based in Johannesburg North. 

This position is a 3-month fixed-term contract with the possibility of becoming permanent.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead group financial reporting, consolidations, and statutory reporting.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
• Ensure IFRS compliance and maintain strong financial controls.
• Manage treasury, taxation, payroll, and shared services.
• Lead the annual audit process and liaise with external stakeholders.
• Drive financial process improvements and automation initiatives.
• Lead and develop a high-performing finance team.

Minimum Requirements:

• CA(SA)/ CGMA (CIMA)
• 8 years' relevant finance experience, with at least 4–5 years in a management role.
• Strong experience in group consolidations.
• Advanced ERP systems and Excel skills.
