Durban North. An excellent opportunity exists for an experienced Patternmaker with a minimum of 3 years’ hands-on experience using Lectra to join an established clothing manufacturing company. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating accurate patterns for a variety of ladieswear garments, including blouses, dresses, skirts, pants and jackets.

Responsibilities:

• Create and develop accurate patterns for ladieswear garments
• Work on a variety of styles including blouses, dresses, skirts, pants and jackets
• Interpret design concepts and specifications into production-ready patterns
• Ensure patterns meet required fit, measurements and quality standards
• Make adjustments and amendments to patterns as required
• Work closely with the design and production teams

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in Lectra Patternmaking
• Strong hands-on experience using Lectra is essential
• Proven experience creating patterns for ladieswear
• Good understanding of garment construction, fit and grading
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work to deadlines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Valid driver’s licence
