Hillcrest Area – KwaZulu Natal: Our client is looking for a Junior Horse Trainer / Stable Assistant to join the team.
 
This is a Junior, Entry Level position.
 
Only candidates with the relevant experience will be considered.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
 

• Agricultural Diploma/Degree advantageous
• Agricultural background essential
• Proven experience with:
• Plaiting, grooming, show clipping and show prep, bathing horses, washing tails, show trim ups, use of ice, legsweat, uptight poultice, etc.
• Foaling down of mares
• Stallions
• Experience in equine or animal husbandry essential
• Passion for animals / animal husbandry
• Computer literate
• Hard working, deadline driven and diligent
• Ability to work with and lead a team
• Maintenance orientated
• Valid drivers’ license with own vehicle
