Bapsfontein Area – Gauteng Area: Our client is looking for a Farm Manager to join the team.
 
Only candidates with the relevant experience will be considered.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• NQF 3 will serve as recommendation
• Previous crop farming experience with maize & soya
• Experience operating, maintenance and calibration of pesticide and herbicide sprayers, tractors planters and other farm equipment
• Experience with managing a team of more than 10 staff members
• Computer literate
• Good interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to function under pressure
• Good health – physical stamina
• Mechanical experience and ability will be an advantage
• Valid code 8 drivers license or higher

 FUNCTIONS INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED:

• Planning and organizing
• Ensuring compliance with daily production schedules
• Identifying and solving of work-related problems
• Planting and harvesting of cash crops
• Implementation of crop spraying program
• Stock Control and house keeping
• Leadership, guidance and communication with workers
• Constantly adding value
