Central Mozambique – Mozambique: Our client is looking for a Forestry & Timber Mill Management Couple to join the team.

Due to the remote location of the farm this position would suit a couple with children out of the house or people with home-schooling children.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
 

• Agricultural Diploma/Degree advantageous
• Working knowledge of forestry operations & FSC certification of indigenous forest operations
• Extensive technical knowledge for maintenance of forestry equipment (saws, tractors, milling, drying, wood turning etc equipment
• Knowledge of processes related to selecting, marking, and calculating timber extraction, cubic calculations and compliance with forestry laws related to cutting & extraction of indigenous forests
• Knowledge of legal & legislative processes related to obtaining felling licenses, export licenses for timber sawn product as well as finished goods products
• Full accountability for finance & planning
• Ability to speak some basic Portuguese
• Valid driver’s license
• Valid passport
