Nelspruit Area – Mpumalanga: Our client is looking for an IT Technician to join the team.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting and maintaining the sites IT Infrastructure.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
 

• 3 – 5 Years Relevant Experience
• CompTIA A+ and CompTIA N+
• Microsoft MCSA/MCSE
• Additional Networking Certifications would be advantageous

 
KEY ACCOUNTABILITY AREAS
 

• Configuring, Troubleshooting and Maintaining the IT Infrastructure (Serves, Switches, Firewalls etc)
• Configure, Troubleshoot and Maintain End User Devices (Desktop, Laptops, Mobiles etc)
• Managing Office 365 Users
• Keep Infrastructure Documentation up to date (Asset Registers, Network Diagram etc)
• Ensure Backups are Adequate and Running as per Disaster Recovery Plan.
• Comply with Company Policies and Procedures
• Good Communication to Stakeholders.
• Ensure Secure Best Practices and Access Control are followed.
• Ensure Tickets are Prioritized/Escalated Efficiently and Closed within Scope.
• Manage 3rd Party Installations.
• Off Season Task may vary from above
• Updates om Project/Task Management Platforms are done.
• End User Cyber Security Awareness Training
• Procure Stock Needed for Projects and Tasks.
• On-site accommodation is a requirement for this role. The successful candidate will be expected to reside on the premises and be available to respond to operational needs as required
