Laingsburg Area – Western Cape: Our client is looking for a Production Manager to join the team.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
 

• Minimum 5-8 years experience in deciduous fruit production
• Relevant qualification (diploma / degree in horticulture, soil science, etc.)
• Proven experience in people management
• Administrative skills with good computer literacy
• Extensive knowledge of modern farming practices which should include orchard establishment, pruning, tree manipulation, irrigation etc.

 
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
 

• Take responsibility for all production processes
• Handle and utilize the administration related to production to promote efficiency
• Manage subordinates optimally
• Be willing to apply scientific farming practices
• Add value to the growth of the business
