Montagu Area – Western Cape: Our client is looking for a Farm Foreman to join the team.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
 

• Agricultural Diploma/Degree advantageous
• At least 5 years’ experience with stone fruit
• Ability to work well in a team and independently 
• Must be passionate and excited for growth
• Must be self-disciplined / reliable / hands on / independent / initiative taking / trustworthy
• Strong time management skills
• Maintenance orientated
• Computer literate
• Valid driver’s license

 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO
 
 

• Overall maintenance and management of farm
• Ensuring daily operations and production of the farm runs smoothly and efficiently
• Livestock management
• Equipment management
• Record Keeping and Inventory
• Daily reports
• Safety and Compliance
• Machinery maintenance and servicing
• Crop Production and Management
• Staff management and training
• Assisting the farm manager with financial management (Constantly bettering budgets)
• Problem solving (Especially when coming to developing agricultural methods)
