Richmond/Eston area – KwaZulu Natal: Our client is looking for a Farm Manager Forestry to join the team.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified individual with experience in plantation management, a commitment to sustainability, and the leadership to manage both field and admin operations.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
 

• Diploma or Degree in Forestry / Agriculture / Environmental Management
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a senior forestry or plantation role
• Proven staff management and contractor coordination experience
• Strong budgeting, reporting, and planning capability
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, GIS, and mobile communications
• Knowledge of FSC/PEFC certification requirements

 
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO
 

• Oversee silviculture and harvesting operations across MSD farms
• Maintain FSC compliance and uphold environmental standards
• Manage budgets, staff, contractors, infrastructure, and safety protocols
• Plan and execute annual production and regeneration programs
• Liaise with local communities, authorities, and industry stakeholders
• Coordinate logistics from planting to market
