Hofmeyr Area – Eastern Cape: A well-established mixed farming operation is looking for a hands-on, trustworthy Farm Manager with a passion for livestock, crops, and the outdoors.
 
This is a great opportunity for someone with solid experience in sheep, cattle, game/hunting, and irrigated crop production, combined with practical skills in mechanical repairs, machinery, and stock handling.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
 

• Agricultural Diploma advantageous
• Knowledge of sheep, cattle, game/hunting & lands / irrigation & crops
• Must have experience in repairs of machinery, implements, farm vehicles, tractors, stock handling & facilities
• Must be hardworking & honest
• Good people skills
• Loves working with animals & the outdoors
• Valid driver’s license

 
DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO
 

• Repair plant equipment, implements, vehicles & tractors
• Repair stock handling facilities
• Manage the dosing, treatment & records of cattle & sheep
• Cut, rake & bale oats, lucerne etc
• Irrigation of crops
