East Kalimantan Area – Indonesia: The successful incumbent will be assigned to work in our Palm Oil Estates Operations Department.
 
Due to the accommodation and remote area of the farm this position would suit a single person.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
 

• Bachelor’s degree in agriculture / forestry or related field
• 3-5 years’ experience in agriculture or field –based operations
• Experience in a supervisory role
• Independent, proactive, eager to learn and results oriented
• Strong social / interpersonal skills
• Exposed to meeting and/or working with people from different cultures and background (Ideally has travelled outside home region / overseas and especially Asia
• Willing to learn different languages
• Comfortable to live / work in remote area

 
KEY ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO
 

• Oversee daily field operations activities: planning, harvesting, crop care & road maintenance. (PDCA)
• Coordinate efficient transportation of harvested fruit from estate to mills
• Analyse field productivity data to identify areas for performance improvement (for daily activities and process improvement initiatives).
• Mentoring and upskilling of field workers.
