Bergville Area – KwaZulu Natal: An exciting opportunity is available for a hands-on Farm Manager to establish and oversee a new Dorper sheep flock of 1,000 in the Bergville area. This role requires a candidate with strong management, organisational, and practical farming skills, who can set up and run the operation from the ground up.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
 

• Agricultural Degree / Diploma advantageous
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in agricultural field
• Previous experience with sheep farming
• Maintenance orientated
• Ability to motivate and work with staff
• Strong communication skills
• Computer literate
• Valid driver’s license

 
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
 

• Manage all administrative & practical areas of a Sheep farm inc but not limited to
• To set up all structures, facilities & resources required for the effecting running of a flock of 1000 Dorper Sheep
• Asist in procurement of sheep, manage budgets & labour. All practically & administratively
• Reporting including budgets & expenditure on weekly & monthly basis
