They are seeking a dynamic and experienced Horticultural Farm Manager to lead their operations, oversee plant cultivation, and manage their team effectively.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
 

• 5 years’ hands-on experience in growing plants, preferably in a horticultural or agricultural setting.
• At least 6 years of experience working with labour in South Africa, with a strong understanding of local labour dynamics and regulations.
• Fluency in Xhosa is essential for effective communication with team members.
• Excellent operational and organizational skills, with a proven track record of managing complex farm activities.
• Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure.

 
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
 

• Oversee daily farm operations, including planting, cultivation, harvesting, and maintenance of horticultural crops.
• Manage and supervise farm labour teams, ensuring compliance with South African labour laws and promoting a positive work environment.
• Implement efficient organizational strategies to optimize production, resource allocation and workflow.
• Handle operational challenges and high-pressure situations with composure and strategic decision-making.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to maintain high standards of quality and sustainability.
