Krugersdorp Area – Gauteng: This is a stud cattle (Boran, Beefmaster & Ankole) farm and they seek to appoint a highly competent Cattle Manager to assume overall responsibility for the management of the Studfarm and staff.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
 

• Matric
• Relevant degrees/diplomas in Agriculture
• Knowledge & experience of Logix system
• Knowledge of stud lines (Boran, Beefmaster & Ankole)
• Experience with:
• Pairings of stud bloodlines
• Tagging & registration of calves
• Vaccinations
• Identify illnesses
• Experience with calving issues
• Dehorning
• Knowledge of veldt & feeding
• Valid driver’s license
• Must be willing to work overtime & weekends, public holidays etc.
