Nairobi - Kenya: A large commercial farm is seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee open-field vegetable production. The role requires a hands-on, technically strong manager with a proven background in large-scale field cropping.

Minimum Requirements

• Solid experience in field-grown vegetables
• Strong knowledge of crop planning, irrigation, fertigation, and pest/disease control
• Experience managing large labour teams
• Ability to work independently on a remote farm
• Agricultural qualification advantageous

 
Key Responsibilities

• Manage full production cycle from land prep to harvest
• Develop planting schedules and ensure high-quality output
• Implement crop protection and nutrition programs
• Lead and supervise field teams
• Maintain accurate production and input records
