Western Cape Area – Western Cape: This is an opportunity for an experienced dairy farm manager who is interested in raising a herd of water buffalos for milk production and the production of Fynbos herbs for the herb/tea industry.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
 

• Agricultural Diploma or degree
• Experience as dairy farmer
• Min. five years of experience as a fully responsible farm manager
• Leadership qualities
• Knowledge of the local food industry and/or export
• Technical knowledge of the required machinery
• Knowledge of the safeguarding of the farm infrastructure (roads, fences, safety)

 
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO
 

• Animal health and productivity, supervision of the production of the milk products, distribution and marketing of the products, setting up and guiding a team of farm workers, supervision of maintenance work of production and farm infrastructure.
