Stellenbosch Area – Western Cape: An established nursery is seeking an experienced, hands-on Propagation Supervisor to oversee propagation operations and ensure consistent quality and production performance. This role combines active involvement in day-to-day propagation work with supervision, planning and quality control.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
 

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in horticulture
• Relevant horticulture qualification
• Valid driver’s licence
• Strong computer literacy and planning skills
• Good irrigation knowledge
• Practical, hands-on approach to work
• Sustainability-focused mindset
• Reside in Stellenbosch, Helderberg, Northern Suburbs area

 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO
 

• Actively participate in propagation activities while supervising the team
• Oversee daily propagation operations and workflows
• Maintain and enforce quality standards
• Plan and monitor production schedules
• Manage and monitor propagation-related irrigation systems
• Train, guide and support propagation staff
• Apply efficient, sustainable propagation practices
