MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
 

• A qualification in the electrical or mechanical field will be advantageous
• Packhouse experience will be an advantage
• A Strong Mechanical and Electrical background

 
COMPETENCIES REQUIRED
 

• Ability to work under pressure and make decisions quickly.
• Ability to follow a maintenance schedule.
• Physical and manual dexterity and agility.
• Ability to troubleshoot.

 
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
 

• Carry out scheduled maintenance to reduce downtime and extend equipment life
• Diagnose and repair mechanical faults on pneumatic and conveyor systems
• Fabricate, assemble, and retrofit mechanical/electrical systems to improve efficiency
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, lockout/tagout procedures, and regulations
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, reports, and parts inventories
• Install, dismantle, and align machinery according to manufacturer specifications
• Perform routine inspections and testing to prevent failures and ensure reliable operation
• Maintain high standards of workmanship
