Solwezi area – Zambia: The successful candidate will work directly under the Managing Director. This is a senior and all-encompassing vacancy, and the successful candidate will be responsible for all farm aspects.
 
Due to the remote location of the farm the client prefers a married couple.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
 

• Degree / Diploma in Agriculture / Agribusiness essential
• Previous farming experience on a commercial farm preferred
• Experience with:
  • Cropping (wheat & soyabeans)
  • Cattle
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work with and motivate a team
• Somebody who can take ownership and works independently and proactively
• Being maintenance/mechanically orientated
• Valid driver’s license
• Valid passport

 
RESPONSIBILITIES
 

• Oversee all labour related tasks
• All aspects relating to:
  • Cropping & livestock
  • Machinery management
  • Bush clearing
  • Irrigation & pivot management
  • buildings
