Krugersdorp area – Gauteng: This organic farm producing pomegranates and other organic crops requires a skilled individual with practical experience in organic farming practices to join the team.
 
The successful candidate will start with a salary of R5 000 per month.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
 

• Proven experience working on an organic pomegranate farm.
• Practical knowledge of organic pest control methods, including organic pesticides, fungal sprays, and organic fertilizers.
• Ability to scout for pests and diseases and correctly identify common agricultural pests.
• Experience with post-harvest handling, including:
  • Cold storage management
  • Sorting and grading fruit
  • Pomegranate deseeding processes advantageous
• Working knowledge and experience in organic cultivation of the following crops:
  • Avocado
  • Cape gooseberry
  • Granadilla
  • Lemons
• Ability to work independently and as part of a farm team.
• Must be reliable, physically fit, and willing to work in an outdoor agricultural environment.
• Proven experience working on an organic pomegranate farm.
• Practical knowledge of organic pest control methods, including organic pesticides, fungal sprays, and organic fertilizers.
