Homa Bay county area – Kenya: This is an established business and one of the most successful scale ups in East Africa and they are looking to employ an Aquaculture Farm Operations Manager - Junior.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
 

• Relevant Agricultural degree / diploma
• Experience and affinity with agriculture / aquaculture / industrial environments.
• Computer literate
• Ability to motivate and work with staff
• Able to command a room and team, while being respectful and mindful of cultural differences.
• Strong communication skills
• Maintenance orientated
• Valid passport

 
 
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO
 

• Project Manage range of projects on the farm. E.g., reorganizing the warehouse, establishing better entrance controls, scaling up the maintenance team (60%)
• Enforce discipline across teams. E.g., Check follow through on commitments, spot check attendance and adherence to schedules, establish stronger accountability mechanisms and provide training on them (40%)
