Limpopo area – Limpopo: A leading and established operation within the fresh produce and value-added processing sector is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee a high-performance processing facility.
This is a senior role suited to a results-driven, commercially minded professional with strong experience in production, supply chain, quality control, and team leadership within a food processing or FMCG environment.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
 
  • Relevant qualification in Operations, Food Science, Agriculture, Engineering, or similar
  • Minimum 5–7 years’ experience in food processing / manufacturing / FMCG
  • Strong experience in:
  • Production planning & operations
  • Supply chain and procurement
  • Quality control systems
  • Financial and cost management
  • Proven leadership experience managing teams in a production environment
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making ability
 
KEY FOCUS AREAS
 
  • Full responsibility for production and processing operations
  • Overseeing procurement, inventory, and supply chain efficiency
  • Driving quality assurance and food safety standards (HACCP, GMP, ISO)
  • Managing financial performance, budgets, and cost control
  • Leading and developing multi-disciplinary teams
  • Ensuring health, safety, and environmental compliance
