Nairobi area – Kenya: The Technical Manager — Irrigation & Greenhouses is a senior leadership role responsible for driving the company's technical excellence and market positioning in irrigation technologies and greenhouse solutions across Kenya and the broader East African market.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
 
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Agricultural Engineering, Irrigation Engineering, Civil/Water Engineering, or a closely related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in irrigation design, technical sales, or engineering, with at least 4 years in a leadership role.
  • Deep subject matter expertise in irrigation technologies including drip irrigation, sprinkler systems, centre pivots, fertigation, and automation/digital solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience managing multi-disciplinary technical teams.
  • Strong understanding of the Kenyan and East African agribusiness landscape — including key crops, farming systems, and climate considerations.
  • Proven track record in stakeholder engagement with large commercial farms, exporters, development partners, or government agencies.
