Burgersfort area – Limpopo: Our client is seeking a detail-orientated and highly organized Accountant to ensure accurate financial record-keeping compliance with statutory regulations, and the provision of timely financial insights that support strategic decision-making across the organization.
 
This is an ENTRY LEVEL position.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
 

• Pastel accounting experience
• Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience
• Packhouse experience will be an advantage
• Studying for a finance or Accountant degree or diploma will be advantageous

 
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
 

• Capture and process supplier invoices accurately in the accounting system
• Match purchase orders, delivery notes, and invoices
• Reconcile supplier statements with creditor ledger balances
• Prepare payment batches and ensure timely supplier payments
• Liaise with suppliers to resolve queries and discrepancies
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
• Assist with month-end procedures, reconciliations, and reporting
• Capture and reconcile bank transactions, petty cash, and debit card expenses
• Maintain finance and compliance documentation and filing
• Assist with internal and external audits
• Perform creditor age analysis, cash book reconciliation, and reporting on Pastel
