Stellenbosch area – Western Cape: The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the olive farm in all aspects.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
 

• Agricultural Qualification (preferably)
• Min of 5 years previous experience in similar role
• Experience with and understanding of Olive growing preferable
• Computer Literacy.
• Knowledge in Global GAP HACCP ISO
• Must be trustworthy, hands-on and a team player who enjoys working with high standards of excellence.
• Eager to learn
• Ability to drive the tractor and operate various implements (spray pump, ripper etc.)
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work with and motivate a team
• Valid driver’s license

 
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO
 

• Day-to-day leadership of the diverse team
• Orchard maintenance and management of olive trees (spraying, feeding, pruning, irrigation and harvesting)
• Planning and execution of general cleaning & maintenance of the overall property grounds with the team
