Katherine area Northern Territory – Australia: The Farm Development & Machinery Manager will oversee and execute day-to-day land development and farming programs across the company properties. This includes planning, budgeting, and delivering large-scale improvements in collaboration with the Directors. The role also involves ensuring compliance with sub-lease agreements and contributing to the company’s commitment to sustainable farming practices.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
 

• Proven leadership skills with experience managing small teams.
• Physically fit and capable of outdoor work.
• Ability to operate heavy machinery.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, and GIS mapping tools.
• Current driver’s license and sober habits.
• Experience in land development, including tree clearing, burning, raking, ploughing, and erosion prevention.
• Knowledge of farming, agronomy, and livestock infrastructure.
• Skilled in operating and maintaining heavy machinery.
• Integrity, honesty, and transparency.
• Resilience and adaptability.
• Ability to engage and influence others effectively.
