Nelspruit area, Mpumalanga province – South Africa: Responsible for the maintenance, repair and installation of electrical systems and equipment across the Company’s farming operations, ensuring safe and reliable operation with minimal downtime.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
 

• Qualified Electrician with recognised Trade Test / Red Seal.
• Relevant electrical maintenance experience.
• Experience with three-phase and single-phase systems and fault-finding.
• Agricultural or industrial electrical experience will be advantageous.
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Willing to work overtime and attend breakdowns/call-outs when required.
• A minimum of five years’ experience is required for this position.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO
 

• Perform electrical maintenance, repairs and fault-finding.
• Attend to electrical breakdowns and emergency call-outs.
• Maintain electrical motors, pumps, control panels and distribution boards.
• Maintain electrical systems related to boreholes and irrigation equipment.
• Perform preventative and scheduled maintenance.
• Carry out electrical installations and upgrades when required.
• Ensure all electrical work complies with applicable safety requirements.
• Maintain electrical tools, equipment and basic maintenance records.
• Perform other reasonable duties related to the position.
