Tzaneen area, Limpopo province – South Africa: The successful candidate will manage the day to day running of this Avocado & Macadamia Nut Farm.  If you are self-motivated, dynamic with the necessary experience and expertise, this position could be for you.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
 

• Agricultural Diploma/Degree advantageous
• At least 2 years’ experience in avocado/ macadamia farming
• Ability to work with their hands and willing to learn
• Computer literate
• Energetic, hardworking, and self-driven individual
• Ability to work with and motivate a team
• Maintenance orientated
• Valid driver’s license

 
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO
 

• Manage day to day farming operations
• Work with the supervisors ensuring the tasks are executed well
• Manage and monitor irrigation, fertiliser and chemical applications on the farm
• Keep staff motivated, work well with people from all backgrounds
• Planning and ordering of consumables on time
• Admin and paperwork need to be detailed and accurate for certification and audits.
