Stellenbosch area, Western Cape province – South Africa: This regenerative farm seeks to employ a self-motivated farm manager.
The successful candidate will report directly to the owner.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
 

• Agricultural Diploma/Degree advantageous
• Must have knowledge and passion for regenerative farming, organic farming experience helpful.
• Previous working experience with Avocado, Olives, Almonds, vineyards and livestock
• Must be a good communicator, team member, a reliable person with good leadership skills
• Must have ownership mentality
• Ability to take initiative within the vision of the farm
• Mechanically orientated
• Ability to motivate and work with staff
• Valid driver’s license

 
DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
 

• Staff management
• Irrigation management and scheduling
• Manage Avocado, Olive, and almond orchards
• Soil and nutrient management, pest control
• Manage sales and marketing of all products
• Maintenance of the cabins and assist with the cabins where needed
• Pasture and cattle management
• Manage alien species
• Maintain a neat and natural farm that runs well
