Gijima is recruiting 1 x Procurement Intern for their offices in Midrand.  Successful candidate must live in the Midrand area.

Gijima is recruiting 1 x Procurement Intern for their offices in Midrand. 
The criteria is as follows:-

• Candidates must have completed a 3 year tertiary qualification relevant to Procurement (i.e. Bachelor of Commerce: Supply Chain Management; Bachelor's  Degree in Supply Chain Management)
• Candidates must be computer literate and must be proficient in Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, e-mail, internet
• Clear credit (ITC) and no criminal record;
• Candidates must currently be unemployed;
• Candidates must not be participating on another learnership or internship program;
• Candidates must live in Gauteng (preferably in the Midrand area) – relocation is NOT an option;
• Candidates must be under the age of 35 as at 1 July 2023;
• Candidates must be a South African Citizen;

Competencies/Skills Required:-

• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
• Possess excellent command of the English language
• Well-organized with excellent attention to detail
• Excellent time management and organisational skills

 
Responsibilities

• Setting up procurement admin
• Supplier onboarding and loading onto the system
• Manage communication with suppliers and do follow-ups
• Data capturing
• Acting as a funnel for queries
• Creating and following up on Purchase Orders
• Data and Reporting
