Manager: Partnership and Business Development (MP&BD)

Duties & Responsibilities

This position requires a team player with excellent business and partnership development skills to deliver a business development strategy and plan, establish new partnerships and business opportunities with private, public and donor partners, stewardship with partners and, coordinate implementation of partnership activities liaising with both internal and external stakeholders. The Manager: Partnership and Business Development position will form part of the Stakeholder and Communications branch and will report to the Head: Partnership and Business Development.
 
The Manager: Partnership and Business Development will be responsible for assessing the internal and external environment to advise, develop and lead the implementation of the Business Development strategy and contribute towards the implementation of the broader WRC partnership strategy by liaising and co-creating with Managers, Senior Managers and Executives during the development of new concepts and proposals on an ongoing basis.

 Qualification, Skills and Experience 

Applicants must be in   possession of a bachelor’s Degree in Science/ Engineering/Business management. A Post graduate qualification in Business Management will be an added advantage.  Five (5) years’ experience in Business or Partnership development is required.
