RECRUITMENT CONSULTANTS (INTERNSHIP)

Candidates must live in Gauteng, preferably in the greater Midrand area.
Gijima is looking to recruit 2 x competent Recruitment Consultant interns to assist our clients in finding the best candidates to staff their business. A successful candidate will attract candidates, screen them and match them to appropriate positions.
The criteria is as follows:-
  • Candidates must have completed a 3 year tertiary qualification in HR (i.e. HR diploma or degree)
  • Candidates must be computer literate and must be proficient in Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, e-mail, internet
  • No criminal record;
  • Candidates must currently be unemployed;
  • Candidates must not be participating on another learnership or internship program;
  • Candidates must live in Gauteng (preferably in the Midrand area) – relocation is NOT an option;
  • Candidates must be under the age of 35 as at 1 July 2024;
  • Candidates must be a South African Citizen – African, Coloured, Indian

  • Proficiency in using digital tools and platforms (e.g., ATS, CRM systems, LinkedIn, job boards), will
     be advantageous.
 
Responsibilities
  • Find clients and foster long-term relationships
  • Understand client requirements
  • Assessing and responding to the needs of each particular client or assignment
  • Employ recruiting methods to attract candidates (e.g. job advertising)
  • Evaluate resumes and applications
  • Source candidates using databases, social media etc.
  • Brief candidates on the opportunities offered by the client
  • Assume responsibility of pre-interview screening
  • Match the most suitable candidates to different positions
  • Create relationships with job seekers and provide advice
  • Managing the process through the interview to offer stage and beyond
  • Negotiating pay and salary rates and finalising arrangements between client and candidate
  • Facilitate and finalize agreements between candidate and employee
  • Offering CV, interview and general career advice
  • Must possess strong research skills
  • Ability to craft exciting and engaging job advertisements
  • Passionate about social media engagement
