GIJIMA ICT INTERNSHIP – CAPE TOWN

Gijima is recruiting interns for a MICT Seta funded internship programme - Gijima ICT Internship Programme 2026/2027 in Cape Town.  Students who have completed their IT degree or IT Diploma can apply.  Candidates must live in Cape Town.

The criteria is as follows:-

• Candidates must have COMPLETED their 3 YEAR tertiary qualification in IT relevant to the following areas (support – AD, Azure, Windows, help desk, service coordination, patch support, release management) and with qualifications relevant to the following areas AI Engineering, computer systems engineering and software engineering.
• Students must have completed their 3-year tertiary qualification, this is NOT a WIL/In-Service training/Industrial Exposure internship programme
• Candidates must have no criminal record;
• Candidates must currently be unemployed;
• Candidates must not be participating on another learnership or internship program;
• Candidates must have completed matric with English and mathematics;
• Candidates must have effective communication in written and verbal English;
• Candidates must currently be living in CAPE TOWN (relocation is NOT an option);
• Candidates must be between the ages of 18 and 35 as of 1 June 2026;
• Candidates must be a South African Citizen
