Gijima is recruiting 15 learners for an Occupational Certificate Computer Tech (SAQA ID 101408) learnership programme in Gauteng, for a 12-month period.  This qualification provides a strong foundation in computer systems, hardware and software support, networking, troubleshooting, and IT maintenance. It equips learners with the practical knowledge and technical skills required to install, configure, maintain, and support computer systems and related technologies in a professional environment.

The criteria is as follows: -

• Matric certificate with Mathematics and English.
• Exposure to computing will be advantageous but not a requirement.
• Further learning is the ability to use a personal computer.
• Candidates must not have a criminal record.
• Candidates must currently be unemployed.
• Candidates must not be participating on another learnership or internship program.
• Candidates must live in or around Gauteng
• Candidates must be under the age of 35 as of 1 August 2026.
• Candidates must be a South African Citizens
• Candidates must be between 18 and under 35.

Competencies/Skills Required: -

• Candidates must be passionate about technology, particularly in the areas of computer hardware, software support, networking, and IT infrastructure.
• Candidates must have strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Candidates must have good interpersonal skills and be able to provide professional technical support and assistance to users and colleagues.
