(Microsoft Windows Virtual Desktop/Intune)

Gijima is recruiting 1 x Technical Intern to provide support in their SCCM, Intune and Microsoft Windows Virtual Desktop environment

The criteria is as follows:-

• Candidates must have completed a 3-year tertiary qualification in IT (i.e. National Diploma or degree) with knowledge of Azure Virtual Desktop, MEMCM/Intune, Configuration Management and IT operations
• International Certifications will be advantageous (Azure Administrator, Virtual Desktop)
• Candidates must have no criminal record.
• Candidates must currently be unemployed.
• Candidates must currently NOT be enrolled at a tertiary institution.
• Candidates must not be participating on another learnership or internship program.
• Candidates must live in Gauteng (preferably in the Midrand area) – relocation is NOT an option;
• Candidates must be under the age of 35 as of 01 July 2026
• Candidates must be a South African Citizen (African, Indian and Coloured);

Competencies/Skills Required: -

• Clear understand of Azure Virtualisation
• Good understanding of Azure Logic app automation
• Solid and proven PowerShell Scripting
• Microsoft Configuration Manager Infrastructure Support
• Proven Modern Desktop Management toolset technology experience
  Active Directory Group Policy creation and troubleshooting
• Good working knowledge of Networking - TCP/IP (Configuration of Client, Client Troubleshooting)

Responsibilities: -

• Part of a team that supports multiple platforms (SCCM, Intune & Azure Virtual Desktop)
• Implement, configure, maintain, and continuously enhance Modern Desktop management toolsets
• Develop and implement automative scripts, utilities, and reports to enhance maturity of environment
• Scope of responsibilities can shift to where urgent needs are
