IT Project Manager (ERP Transformation)
Contract Opportunity (12 Months)

About the Opportunity
Our client is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead the assessment, planning, governance and decision-support activities associated with a large-scale ERP transformation programme.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing multiple ERP assessment workstreams, coordinating stakeholders, overseeing governance processes, and supporting strategic decision-making related to enterprise application transformation and migration initiatives.

This role forms part of a broader digital transformation strategy aimed at enhancing business processes, improving operational efficiency, and establishing a scalable ERP platform to support future growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage ERP assessment and planning activities.
• Develop and maintain integrated project plans, milestones, risks, dependencies and governance frameworks.
• Coordinate cross-functional business and technology workstreams.
• Facilitate ERP fit-gap analysis and solution assessments.
• Manage stakeholder communication and executive-level reporting.
• Oversee project governance including steering committee reporting, decision logs, risk registers and action tracking.
• Coordinate process assessments across Finance, Procurement, Logistics, Manufacturing, HR, Payroll, Compliance and IT environments.
• Support integration planning, security assessments, data migration readiness and infrastructure assessments.
• Prepare business cases, recommendations and executive decision-support reports.
• Ensure alignment of ERP initiatives with broader business and technology strategies.

 
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications andCertifications

• Relevant Degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems or related field.
• Project Management Certification such as: PMP, PRINCE2, AgilePM
• Equivalent recognised Project Management qualification

 
Experience Required

• Extensive IT Project Management experience.
• Proven experience managing ERP implementation, migration or enterprise transformation projects.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and large-scale technology initiatives.
• Strong project governance and stakeholder management experience.
• Experience with enterprise application integration and business systems transformation.
• Experience within complex corporate environments.
• Manufacturing industry exposure will be advantageous.
