Purpose Of The Job:
Our client is a specialist distributor and remanufacturer serving the automotive, commercial transport, agricultural, mining, construction, and industrial sectors.
We are seeking an experienced and technically competent individual to manage our Returns, Warranty and Service Exchange Department.
This is a specialist role that combines technical product knowledge, administration, customer interaction, warranty management, and operational decision-making.

- Manage warranty claims and returns administration
- Assess returned diesel injection and turbocharger products
- Determine suitability for repair, remanufacture, credit, or rejection
- Liaise with technical and workshop personnel
- Maintain accurate ERP records and documentation
- Communicate with customers regarding returns and warranty matters
- Identify recurring product quality issues and trends
- Assist with operational planning of returned products
- Ensure departmental KPI and turnaround targets are achieved
- Minimum 5 years relevant industry experience in an automotive environment
- Strong diesel technical background
- Computer literacy and ERP experience
- Strong administrative and organisational skills
- Ability to make technically informed decisions
- Excellent communication skills
- Motor industry experience Essential!!
The candidate should possess a sound understanding of:
- Common Rail Diesel Injection Systems
- Mechanical Diesel Injection Systems
- Unit Injectors and Unit Pumps
- Turbocharger Products and Components
- Diesel Engine Operating Principles
- Component Failure Analysis
- Product Identification and Application Matching
- Workshop Repair Processes
- Qualified Diesel Mechanic
- Previous experience in a diesel injection workshop
- Previous experience in a turbocharger repair facility
- Previous experience in warranty administration
- Experience with remanufactured diesel components
