Key Responsibilities:
  • Safely strip and dismantle vehicles prior to repairs
  • Remove and refit body panels, trims, bumpers, lights, and mechanical components
  • Reassemble vehicles to manufacturer and company quality standards
  • Handle vehicle wiring, sensors, cameras, and electronic components with care
  • Ensure all components are correctly aligned, fitted, and functioning
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment
  • Report damaged or missing parts to management
  • Conduct quality checks before vehicle handover
Minimum Requirements:
  • Matric with mechanical work experience
  • 3–5 years' experience as a Strip & Assembler in a panel shop or mechanical service workshop
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of vehicle assembly processes
  • Extensive knowledge of vehicle body fittings, clips, fasteners, and components across multiple vehicle brands
  • Experience working with modern automotive electronics, sensors, and interior wiring harnesses
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

  • Accurate and efficient stripping and reassembly of vehicles
  • Adherence to workshop quality and safety standards
  • Achievement of productivity targets
  • Minimal rework and comebacks
  • Proper handling and care of vehicle parts and equipment
  • Effective teamwork and communication within the workshop
