Purpose Of The Job:
To ensure the preparation, servicing and repairs of all motorcycles within workshop are executed to the exact standards and efficiencies required. Responsible for leading and mentoring all technical staff within workshop.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for vehicle diagnoses
- Ensure all job cards are updated accurately
- Responsible for (technical / non-technical assistance) to workshop staff
- Attend general departmental meeting and maintain good housekeeping
- Attend technical training
- Perform preventative and scheduled maintenance on motorcycles
- Dismantle, inspect, assess, repair and assemble motorcycle engines and related system components
- Diagnose and repair faults in motorcycle engines and related system components
Minimum Requirements:
- Senior Certificate (Grade 12) – important for further technical development
- Valid Motorcycle Drivers’ licence
- Qualified Motorcycle and Scooter Technician (Red Seal Certificate)
- 2-5 Years' workshop experience after qualification
- Motorcycle workshop experience essential
- Computer Literate (Office Suite)
