Duties:
  • Business Development & Networking: Use sales and business development strategies, along with industry-specific networking, to attract clients.
  • Client Understanding: Develop a deep understanding of companies, their industry, technologies, work culture and IT Departments.
  • Tech-Driven Advertising: Draft and post job adverts across digital platforms, including tech-specific websites and social media channels.
  • Digital Recruitment: Leverage social media and online platforms to attract IT candidates and build professional relationships.
  • Headhunting: Identify and approach top tech talent, particularly those with specialised skills.
  • Database Matching: Use candidate databases to find the perfect match for IT roles.
  • Application Management: Review applications, conduct interviews, and create a shortlist of candidates for tech positions.
  • Candidate Vetting: Request references and assess the suitability of candidates before presenting them to clients.
  • Candidate Briefing: Inform candidates about the technical responsibilities, salary, and benefits of IT roles.
  • CV Preparation: Prepare and submit CVs and other relevant documents to clients regarding suitable tech applicants.
  • Interview Coordination: Arrange interviews for candidates as per client requests.
  • Negotiation: Negotiate salary packages and finalise terms between IT clients and candidates.
  • Target Achievement: Work towards and exceed placement targets, focusing on filling tech roles and generating business leads.
 
Job Experience & Skills Required:
Qualifications:
  • Matric (Grade 12)
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Psychology, Marketing, IT, or similar
 
Experience:
  • 1-year proven experience as a recruitment consultant, sales, or similar position
  • Understanding of sourcing and recruiting techniques
  • Ability to work with targets
  • Experience in IT Recruitment would be advantageous
