SITE MANAGER (CONSTRUCTION): Cape Town

Our client, a well-established company within the waterproofing and roofing industry, is seeking an experienced Site Manager to join their team.

Non-Negotiable Requirements:

• Matric with 4+ years’ experience in a similar industry.
• Valid drivers license.
• Proven experience managing projects from conception to completion.
• Strong team leadership and staff development skills.
• Good understanding of health and safety compliance.
• Proactive, self-motivated and takes initiative.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee daily construction site activities.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and site personnel.
• Ensure projects are completed according to plans, specifications and timelines.
• Monitor quality of work and ensure construction standards are maintained.
• Manage site resources, materials, equipment and labour.
• Monitor project progress and report on delays or issues.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations.
• Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, consultants and project managers.
• Conduct site inspections and resolve construction-related issues.
• Maintain accurate site records, reports and documentation.
• Assist with cost control and ensure work stays within budget.
