ROLE OVERVIEW: 
The Sales & Marketing Manager will lead the Sales & Marketing function while personally driving new business and strategic B2B sales opportunities.
The role combines technical solution selling, team leadership and commercial growth.

Minimum requirements:

• Relevant Degree with a strong engineering background.
• 8–10 years’ proven sales experience.
• B2B sales experience essential.
• Senior Sales, Sales Management or Business Development experience.
• Proven new business development and deal-closing track record.
• Experience managing sales targets, revenue objectives and commercial KPIs.
• Strong understanding of the full sales cycle.
• Experience identifying new markets and developing sales opportunities.
• Strong commercial, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Experience leading or mentoring a Sales & Marketing team.
• Hands-on approach to generating and closing sales.
• Technical aptitude with experience selling technical, manufactured, engineered or capital products advantageous.
• Working knowledge of SEO, website management and digital marketing.
• Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Willingness to travel as required.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue, growth and commercial targets.
• Identify and secure new B2B business through prospecting, networking, referrals, cold calling and market research.
• Identify new markets, industries and potential customers to drive business growth.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing B2B clients.
• Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation and client meetings through to quotations, negotiations and deal closure.
• Personally drive and close high-value and strategic sales opportunities.
• Prepare commercial proposals, negotiate pricing and agreements, and manage sales forecasts.
• Lead, motivate and develop the Sales & Marketing team and monitor performance against KPIs.
• Develop marketing strategies that support lead generation, brand awareness and revenue growth.
• Oversee the company’s website, SEO and digital marketing activities and manage external service providers.
• Monitor digital performance and identify opportunities to improve online visibility, lead generation and conversion.
• Work closely with technical, production and operations teams to ensure customer requirements and customised solutions are accurately delivered.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify commercial opportunities.
• Provide management with regular sales, marketing and market reports.
• Contribute to the company’s overall commercial strategy.
