Administrator – FMS Division

Our client, a company within the industrial fuel management and electrical solutions sector, is looking for an Administrator to join their FMS (Fuel Management System) Division. This role is ideal for a highly organised and detail-focused individual who enjoys working with data, systems, and administrative processes in a fast-paced technical environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for extracting, capturing, verifying, and maintaining accurate data from Fuel Management Systems. You will also support the team with reporting, documentation, supplier follow-ups, and general administrative functions across the department. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent Excel skills, and the ability to work with high volumes of data while meeting strict daily deadlines.

What we’re looking for:

  • Grade 12 / Matric (essential)
  • Certificate or Diploma in Business Administration, IT, or related field (advantageous)
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data entry, formulas, spreadsheets, formatting)
  • Experience with data capture, reporting, or administrative systems
  • Exposure to Fuel Management Systems (FMS) or similar platforms advantageous
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Good communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong organisational and time management ability
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently


What you’ll do:

  • Extract daily reports from Fuel Management Systems and verify data accuracy
  • Compile and structure data into Excel spreadsheets and summary reports
  • Capture and upload client-supplied information onto FMS platforms
  • Identify and escalate data errors, discrepancies, or missing information
  • Maintain accurate and organised system records and documentation
  • Assist with general administrative support across the FMS and electrical departments
  • Follow up with suppliers on pricing and delivery timelines
  • Maintain staff tracking sheets, site hours, and project records
  • Manage filing, documentation, and internal record-keeping systems
  • Support inventory tracking and incoming materials checks
  • Assist with health & safety compliance and housekeeping standards
  • Provide general administrative support as required by management
