Product Development Specialist

Location: JHB - Eastern Suburbs, Gauteng

Reporting to: General Manager

Job Description:

As a Product Development Specialist, you will be responsible for driving end to end new product development for reinforced polymer component solutions. Your key duties will include ensuring all new and modified products are developed within a structured NPD framework. This involves overseeing the process from concept through design, validation, testing, and successful launch while maintaining compliance with applicable engineering standards and quality requirements. You will work closely with the head of technical & engineering, production teams, clients, and suppliers to deliver world-class FRP Solutions.

Qualifications:

Qualification Types: Under Graduate Degrees, Post Graduate Degrees Qualifications: Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering, B Eng (Industrial), B Eng (Metallurgy & Materials)

Preference:

Experience in FRP, GRP, Composites, or materials manufacturing
Exposure to structural testing, laminate analysis, or material qualification processes (Advantageous)
Demonstrated experience managing NPD projects from concept to launch
