A hands-on HR role with genuine ownership across employee relations, compliance and day-to-day HR delivery, this opportunity offers the chance to take charge of a full HR function and work closely with both employees and management in a busy production environment. The role brings strong exposure to the full employee lifecycle, disciplinary and grievance matters, CCMA processes, payroll support, time and attendance, WSP/ATR administration and HR reporting, with the added value of contributing to HR compliance and process improvement in a business that has built its success on quality, skilled people and operational excellence.
  • Diploma in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, Labour Relations or relevant
  • 5+ years hands-on HR experience
  • Strong employee relations and labour relations experience, including the ability to handle matters independently
  • Experience across the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment and onboarding
  • Disciplinary and grievance handling experience, with CCMA exposure
  • Payroll administration/support, time and attendance, and WSP/ATR administration experience
  • Knowledge of BCEA, LRA, EEA and other applicable legislation
  • Manufacturing, production or other unionised operational environment experience preferred
  • Strong HR administration and excellent communication skills
  • Microsoft Office proficiency
