A well-established Product Manufacturing business is looking for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join its R&D environment. You’ll work across a wide variety of products, develop and optimise tooling, work directly with toolmakers and manufacturing teams, and see the products you design actually go into production.

• Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering – BSc / BTech or equivalent technical qualification with substantial design experience
• 10+ years’ mechanical design & product development experience
• Proven hands-on Product Design experience
• Proven Injection Mould Design experience
• Strong SolidWorks capability highly preferred
• Strong Design for Manufacture (DFM) and Assembly knowledge
• Experience working directly with toolmakers, manufacturing teams and tooling suppliers
