Job Summary:

The Dairy Technical Advisor will be responsible for promoting and selling a range of Animal Feed products in the Western Cape region. This position involves providing technical support to customers, achieving sales targets, and improving the viability of farms.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Selling:
  
  • Selling and supporting Animal Feed products to current and potential clients
  • Achieving monthly and yearly sales budgets
  • Building and maintaining customer relationships
  • Monitoring pricing trends and adding value for customers
• Technical:
  
  • Understanding principles of animal nutrition
  • Communicating effectively with customers and internal teams
  • Monitoring product performance and participating in industry events
• Administration:
  
  • Handling necessary administration tasks
  • Managing outstanding debtors and providing accurate reports
  • Keeping sector plan up to date
• Standard:
  
  • Improving business aspects through teamwork
  • Identifying and resolving problems effectively
  • Complying with company policies and procedures

Requirements:

Knowledge, Qualifications & Experience:
- B Agric / B.Sc. Agric or similar qualification
- 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Valid driver's license and SACNASP registration
