Our client in the agricultural sector is looking for a Financial Manager to join their team in Brits area.

Minimum requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce
• Professional qualification advantageous such as CA(SA), CIMA, or equivalent
• Minimum 5–8 years’ experience in a Financial Management role
• Experience within agriculture, fresh produce, packhouse, or manufacturing environments preferred
• Strong experience in cost accounting and operational finance
• Proven track record managing audits and statutory compliance
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting standards
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling
• Costing experience including activity-based or standard costing
• Knowledge of tax compliance including VAT, PAYE, and SARS submissions
• Proficient in ERP/accounting systems such as Sage or Pastel, and MS Office
• Experience within export environments and foreign currency exposure advantageous
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and seasonal operational environment
• Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport
• Stable employment track record
• Fluent in Afrikaans and English
