A well-established company is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to support the Financial Manager with daily financial operations and full bookkeeping functions up to trial balance. The role includes reconciliations, creditor processing, payment runs, VAT support, financial reporting, and maintaining accurate financial records across multiple business divisions.
Requirements:
- Relevant bookkeeping or accounting qualification
- Proven experience in a bookkeeping or finance support role
- Strong reconciliations and accounts payable experience
- Experience with foreign creditors, imports, and payment processing advantageous
- Knowledge of VAT, SARS compliance, and statutory submissions
- Experience assisting with payroll and month-end processes
- Strong understanding of financial systems and accounting procedures
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work accurately under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and administrative skills
- Computer literate with good Excel skills
- Ability to work independently and assist across multiple finance functions
